History

VL was incorporated in 2001 with a vision to build a market leading specialist company through the provision of quality liability insurance solutions.  VL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vero New Zealand (Previously Royal & SunAlliance) with the ultimate parent being ASX listed Suncorp Group, a leading trans-Tasman financial services business.

Based on Insurance Council New Zealand industry premium statistics, VL ranks amongst the top 10 New Zealand insurers by premium income and is trusted by many of New Zealand's largest companies and professional firms as well as thousands of smaller businesses, schools, clubs, directors, trusts and enterprises to provide reliable and flexible liability insurance.

With changing laws and demands liability insurance is a challenging area.

VL is committed to meeting the needs of its policyholders and is trusted to do so.
